Route-to-Market and KOL identification
IMS were engaged by an international medical device company to assist with market research, their route-to-market strategy and key opinion identification for a next generation medical device. Our work in total spanned over 6 months, involved both secondary and primary research and made a valuable contribution market entry strategy of the product.
Our research identified target distribution partners across Europe. In addition, we identified and profiled a list of the top 10 clinicians in the specific clinical application area in both the UK and Frand which allowed the company to subsequently make approaches.

Commercisation Strategy and Branding
IMS engaged with a leading Healthcare IT company the pre-commercialisation stages of a highly innovative solution for the primary care and hospital market in Ireland. We partnered with the company in initial validation of the product concept, customer engagement, value proposition development, initial branding and the development of the commercialisation strategy of the product.
Our marketing strategy ultimately positioned the company for acquisition and this was successfully concluded within 4 months of the completion of our work

Marketing Strategy and Funding support
Over a 9 months period IMS partnered with a start-up medical company with a patented solution for the management of varicose veins . Our deliverables included the development of a marketing and channel development strategy, defining the value proposition, design of initial branded materials, end user validation. We also worked closely with the company in the preparation of investor-ready presentations to strategic investors.
Our work resulted in the company successfully making approaches to two significant strategic partners. These discussions are ongoing and are expected to reach a successful conclusion.

Concept to full market introduction
Over a 12 month period, IMS worked with a start-up company in the completion of feasibilty study, planning and management of a succesful beta/pilot launch, all areas of market strategy and business planning, through to eventual market introduction. Following a successful launch, of the e-learning technology, we worked with the company to grow its user base internationally and engage in B2B sales opportunities in the Polish market.
IMS were instrumental in securing CSF Funding from Enterprise Ireland, in the launch of the technology and in a number of industry awards secured.

Market launch and early adopter identification
Over a 6 month period, IMS supported an established industrial technology company in the planning and launch of a new hepa filter solution for cleanrooms and sterile environments. We put in place a highly practical plan which involved the branding of new materials, new customer identification and outbound communications which led to early leads for the new product.
Branding was delivered within a very short lead time in response to the clients’ need. In addition our customer research resulted in early sales leads for the product.

New product introduction process
Over the past 5 years IMS have partnered with a leading data communications multinational in the planning, launch and promotion of over 20 new products. An essential element of our role involves the management of the NPI process, communications strategy with the network of channel partners globally and education programmes to support the sale of these new products.
The main result delivered by IMS is the seamless and professional approach we bring to this client’s product launches. While the stakes are always high, our process and project management abilities ensures that all launches and communciations happen on time, every time.
Marketing strategy and Beta launch
IMS were introduced to this technology at a concept stage and retained to provide hands on support in the planning and implementation of Feasibility Study for a new mobile App. The project involved the set-up of a full Beta Trial including initual branding, collateral development, product promotion, customer service support, market feedback and product validation. The project lasted 4 months in total before its successful conclusion
Following the completion of the Beta Trial, the company was in a strong position to seek investors to take their technology to full market introduction.

Every month IMS work with start-up companies who appoach our team or are referred by one of Ireland’s state development agencies. IMS are a member of the mentor panel for LEO, Enterprise Ireland and a number of the innovation centres associated with our Universities.
We apply our marketing and industry experience to support every company with practical advice. We believe that start-up companies need objective advice, feedback and encouragement.
