The total fund size is up to €250,000 The purpose of the grant is to facilitate high potential start ups to avail of professional advice the areas covered in the grant include:

- Manufacturing process assessment
- Plant evaluation and selection
- Raw material sourcing
- Prototyping
- Negotiating with potential joint venture partners or obtaining a manufacturing licence may also be included
