In the context of defining a go-to-market strategy for a peripheral vascular medical device, I contacted IMS to generate some intelligence on the European market – specifically we needed detailed information on such things as price sensitivity, the number of relevant clinical procedures per hospital in the target markets/countries and contact details of key personnel in several hospitals. Once we had scoped the project with IMS, they went about this fairly significant task in an extremely professional and efficient manner. The final marketing reports far surpassed my expectations in terms of detail and content.
