IMS Marketing are seeking to employ a fully remote, B2B Copywriter to generate engaging, original content that drives traffic and generates leads for our B2B export-oriented client base. We are looking for an exceptional writer who takes pride in their work and has a keen eye for detail.

  • Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.
  • Create compelling content that translates technical information into logical, readable, and understandable content that follows best practice SEO principles.
  • Write a wide variety of copy for multiple platforms (website, blogs, social updates, press releases, sales copy, etc.).
  • Proofread and edit content for errors and inconsistencies to improve readability.
  • Adhere to the established style guides that specify the writing style and tone needed to create engaging content.
  • Identify customers’ needs and recommend new content to address gaps in the company’s current content.


  • Graduation from a post-secondary institution with a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of proven experience performing a similar function in B2B content marketing or communications.
  • Experience working in a similar role in a highly-regulated or complex industry such as biopharma, life sciences, medical device, engineering, construction, etc .
  • Working knowledge of digital content writing best practices and search engine optimization (SEO).
  • You have exceptional English language verbal and written communications skills and equally impressive project management skills.
  • Experience generating a high volume of content while managing tight deadlines. Agency experience will be considered advantageous.
  • Experience working closely with Sales and Marketing teams to respond to requests for proposals and for sales enablement support.
  • The ability to write for a variety of channels, leveraging key messaging and determining style and tone to speak to different audiences including customers, partners, media, investors, and employees.
  • You possess a high degree of emotional intelligence, with the ability to be an effective team player in a cross-functional environment.
  • You are a strong multi-tasker with the ability to fluidly context switch between different projects.
