Position Overview:

LOCOMOTIVE is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Marketing professional to join our high-energy Client Services team.  As a Client Marketing Manager you will be the primary contact for up to eight B2B client organisations and will be tasked with the development and execution of impactful integrated marketing strategies to grow their businesses internationally.

Essential Experience

  • The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years commercial experience post graduation.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic marketing plans is a must have.
  • Strong project management and multitasking skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving results
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial knowledge of B2B organisations

 

Advantageous Experience

  • Experience of the Irish SME sector
  • Experience in a sales or marketing role within an Enterprise Ireland or IDA client company
  • Account management, or a similar client-facing role within an agency or related environment
  • Experience in delivering marketing consultancy to B2B organisations
  • A NFQ Level 7 qualification in Business Studies, Commerce, Marketing or a related field
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, with familiarity in using Scrum and Kanban frameworks to manage and execute projects efficiently.

 

Key Capabilities

An ability to act as a “trusted advisor” to Client organisations

  • You have served as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong relationships through consistently delivering to expectations to ensure satisfaction and trust.
  • You have the required knowledge to where necessary, appropriately educate the client organisation on the marketing technique or strategy being recommended.
  • You are an excellent and persuasive communicator, with the ability to present confidently to clients.
  • You can distill information from numerous different sources in order to put forth a strong rationale for recommending a strategic course of action

 

Experience in the development and implementation of effective digital marketing strategies

  • You have the experience and commercial knowledge required to prescribe data-driven marketing strategies that align with the businesses’ commercial objectives and budget.
  • You have experience leading and project managing integrated digital marketing strategies, from planning through execution and measurement, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
  • While you may not necessarily have hands-on implementation expertise across all areas of digital marketing, you have sufficient digital marketing knowledge and experience to recommend (or advise against) use of one, some or all of the above areas as part of an overall marketing strategy.

 

An ability to develop and execute simultaneously on multiple strategic project plans

  • In previous roles you have overseen multiple projects, setting clear timelines and priorities to meet client needs, and proactively managing risks and issues.
  • You have collaborated with cross-functional teams (design, digital marketing, website development) to deliver cohesive marketing initiatives.
  • You have the foresight and flexibility to adjust planned activity in order to maintain project course and billing targets.
  • Your past experience and knowledge of digital and traditional marketing techniques means you can analyse, evaluate, optimise and implement effective client marketing strategies to achieve objectives

 

An enthusiasm for and an ability to operate and continuously add value across multiple and varied client organisations

  • Your natural ability and enthusiasm to quickly learn the nuances of an unfamiliar industry/offering 
  • You can quickly switch gears from one client project to the next over the course of a day or week
  • You are eager to continuously improve and upskill in areas related to B2B marketing strategy
