We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Marketing professional to join our high energy Client Services team.  As a Client Marketing Manager you will be the primary contact for up to eight B2B client organisations and will be tasked with the development and execution of impactful integrated marketing strategies to grow their businesses internationally.  Don’t worry….You won’t be doing it alone…You will be backed up by a marketing and creative team of 21 people including Senior Marketing Strategists, Digital Marketing Specialists, UX Designers and Developers and Market Research Analysts.

Location:

Once Covid restrictions allow, IMS will operate a blended work environment with employee office time split between their home office and our head office in Oranmore. If you are applying from outside of Galway, we are happy for your primary location to be your home office with visits to Oranmore 2-3 days per month for in person meetings.

As Client Marketing Manager, your role will also involve meeting with your clients where appropriate for the purposes of planning sessions, reviews or workshops. Once Covid-19 restrictions permit, expect an average of 1 day/week to be out of the office visiting clients.

Package:

This position will pay a competitive base salary based on experience. We also offer a generous quarterly bonus based on company performance. All employees are welcome to join the company’s contributory pension scheme after completing 6 months in the role. All full time employees enjoy 21 days holidays per year + all National ROI bank holidays.

Contract:

Permanent (5 days) however part time candidates (4 days) will also be considered.

Pre-requisites:

  • Fluent English language (both written and oral.)  An ability to write compelling marketing content is a must!
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Marketing or a related discipline
  • Full, clean driver’s license
  • A private work from home space with access to high speed broadband
  • A proficiency across Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Experience:

Essential Experience

  • The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years commercial experience post graduation.
  • Experience in the development and execution of digital marketing strategies is a must have.
  • Experience in the development and hand on execution of brand strategy The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial knowledge of B2B organisations.

 

Advantageous Experience

  • Experience of the Irish SME  sector
  • Experience in a sales or marketing role within an Enterprise Ireland or IDA client company
  • Experience in delivering marketing consultancy to B2B organisations
  • Agency experience particularly in the field of digital marketing
  • A Level 6 qualification in Digital Marketing

  • You have the required knowledge to where necessary, appropriately educate the client organisation on the marketing technique or strategy being recommended.

 

An ability to develop and execute simultaneously on multiple strategic project plans

  • You have the experience and commercial knowledge required to prescribe a results focused marketing strategy which aligns with the client’s commercial objectives and budget.
  • In previous roles you have managed multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail.
  • You have the foresight and flexibility to adjust planned activity in order to maintain project course and billing targets.
  • Your past experience and knowledge of digital and traditional marketing techniques means you can analyse, evaluate, optimise and implement effective client marketing strategies to achieve objectives

 

Experience in the development and implementation of effective digital marketing strategies

  • You have experience in the development and project management of digital marketing strategies (to include paid, earned, social/shared and owned media.)
  • While you may not necessarily have hands on implementation expertise across areas of digital marketing, you have sufficient digital marketing knowledge and experience to recommend (or advise against) use of one, some or all of the above areas as part of an overall marketing strategy.

 

An enthusiasm for and an ability to operate and continuously add value across multiple and varied client organisations

  • Your natural ability and enthusiasm to quickly learn the nuances of an unfamiliar industry/offering 
  • You can quickly switch gears from one client project to the next over the course of a day or week
  • You are eager to continuously improve and upskill in areas related to B2B marketing strategy
