As a highly creative individual, you thrive off thinking of new and innovative ideas to intercept buyer journeys through SEO, content marketing, email marketing and engaging social media strategies. You will get excited at the prospect of creating blog posts and leveraging the power of diverse and more complex content to reach different audiences e.g. ebooks, whitepapers and video. On a day-to-day basis, you are happiest when creating compelling copy to engage unique and niche audiences, while experimenting with creative visuals and liaising with the wider digital and design teams to supercharge B2B digital and brand marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading digital content strategies across a broad portfolio of clients in various industries, acting as the authority on content direction to drive maximum results.
  • B2B content doesn’t have to be boring, but in the wrong hands it can be! You will think outside of the box – it is your job to turn conservative topics into engaging content that will inspire new thinking and compel decision making.
  • Working closely with digital managers to develop editorial and social calendars in line with client goals and budgets, while liaising with design teams to bring your content visions to life.
  • Adding a ‘je ne sais quoi’ to client monthly blog strategies, performing in-depth industry research and writing in line with SEO goals.
  • Working closely with client managers to bring a creative content flair to certain website copy or social media ads where needed.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the buyer journey of your clients and devise ways to speak to them during crucial touchpoints, through a cross-channel approach to content including organic social media and email marketing.
  • Bringing new ideas to the table, educating client managers and digital specialists on industry trends and new approaches – translating your expertise and passion across the company.
  • Approaching client content calendars with a long-term vision and collaborating closely with client managers and digital leads to educate clients on the importance of digital content in driving their business goals.

Professional Skills & Competencies:

  • Hands-on experience writing and developing content at scale, and a continuous openness to driving creativity – you don’t do mediocre, you specialise in turning conservative topics into interesting, compelling pieces of content.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide actionable insights for all levels of an organisation.
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices.
  • A proven ability to work well with multiple stakeholders across the business.
  • A thorough understanding of how digital fits into and complements general marketing strategies.

Experience:

  • 3+ years working in content marketing or journalism.
  • Proven experience creating and managing engaging content marketing strategies.
  • Experience with SEO content principles.
