Position Overview:

LOCOMOTIVE is seeking an innovative Full Stack Developer to join our Research & Development team. This role focuses on creating cutting-edge applications and tools that streamline operations and deliver insights for our teams and clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging modern development frameworks, cloud infrastructure, and AI technologies to build scalable, impactful solutions.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will have the opportunity to shape LOCOMOTIVE’s technological capabilities, contributing to the development of proprietary tools and platforms that redefine efficiency and innovation in digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement full-stack applications using modern frameworks and cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and support applications that deliver time savings and insights.
  • Contribute to AI and Data Science initiatives.
  • Maintain and improve existing applications and tools.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient development workflows.
  • Develop and manage contract resources for specialized development projects.
  • Build and optimize API integrations with marketing and analytics platforms.

 

Technical Requirements

  • Strong experience with Python development and modern Python frameworks
  • Proficiency in SQL and BigQuery for large-scale data operations
  • Must have or obtain Google Cloud Platform Professional certification within 90 days of starting
  • Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
  • Proven track record with Git version control and collaborative development
  • Experience with GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools
  • Understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO processes and tool APIs
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot experience a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable code
  • Experience with responsive design and UI/UX principles

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with prompt engineering and AI model integration
  • Background in SEO tool development or automation
  • Familiarity with web crawling and content extraction
  • Experience with A/B testing and performance optimization
  • Knowledge of modern web security practices
  • Bachelor’s degree or certifications in a related field, such as: web development, computer science, computer engineering, or information technology
