Web Designer.

About the Role

As a web and digital designer, you’ll be working on creating best-in-class websites, landing pages and digital designs for our B2B clients. You’ll be working primarily on web designs but will have the opportunity to work on branding or wider design projects.

So, who exactly are we looking for?

Someone to take on the following responsibilities:

• Ensure work is smart, impactful and brand-centred
• Design websites that translate across all digital devices and utilise best practice SEO
• Present cohesive and persuasive rationales for user-centred website approaches
• Deliver on-time, high-quality and error-free work
• Work on a range of digital, print and motion graphic content for a variety of clients
• Bring design projects from brief to completion, paying close attention to the smallest details
• Keep up to date with current design and web trends and implement them in your work
• Learn about our clients’ industries: Engineering & Technology, Building Services, Medical Devices, Healthcare, IoT, Software and more
• Be a brand ambassador for IMS. Ensure our brand is consistent across all platforms and outputs
• Work collaboratively with a high-energy, fast paced marketing team

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Excellent research and problem-solving skills
• Ability to articulate and justify design concepts, discuss design-thinking with both team members and clients
• Ability to interpret briefs, manage tasks, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
• Professional approach to feedback
• An online portfolio of web designs that showcases your creativity and capabilities
• 4 years’ experience in a similar role
• Fluency in the Adobe CS suite, particularly Adobe XD, Illustrator and InDesign
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with industry standard UX and SEO practices

• This is a primarily remote position, with the expectation to attend our office or client sites on occasion.
