Press Release: The West’s Only GDPR Seminar for Sales and Marketing Professionals Launched

IMS Marketing has today announced the launch of a must attend seminar for sales and marketing professions on the implications of the pending GDPR for businesses throughout Europe.

The event takes place on April 27th from 9.15am to 13.15pm in the Galway Bay Golf Resort, Ornamore, Galway. It is the only sales and marketing focused workshop in the West of Ireland ahead of the GDPR deadline on May 25th 2018.

Guest speakers from throughout Ireland will provide expert and practical advice on what companies need to do to ensure compliance but also how to plan and implement realistic strategies to ensure ongoing and continued observance of the new legislation.

Speaking about the event, Kevin Moran, Managing Director, IMS Marketing said, “There is a massive sense of uncertainty regarding the whole area of GDPR and this event deals with just one façade of the complex legislation. A very important one none the same.”

“The reality is that GDPR will change how companies, regardless of their industry or size, sell, market and communicate with customers and potential customers. It’s a case that we all must prepare and realign our activities to ensure we are working within the guidelines, as the alternative poses significant ramifications and fines”, added Kevin.

The dedicated GDPR seminar will deal with topics including;

  • The Marketing Implications of GDPR
  • Online Lead Generation and Website Form Capture
  • E-Mail Marketing
  • CRM and Database Management
  • Compliant File Sharing
  • Legal Considerations and Marketing Contracts

Expert guest speakers on the day include, Marie Murphy, Operations Director, Fort Privacy, Andrea Manning, Marketing Manager, OnePageCRM, Danielle Cussen, Managing Director, Wizuda and Laura Myles, Head of Intellectual Property and Technology, Flynn O’Driscoll Business Lawyers.

Business owners, marketing professionals and customer service teams are encouraged to attend the seminar. Early registration is highly recommended as spaces are limited.
