Fabtech Robotics aim is to increase output and drive efficiency, their high-performance robotics offerings (such as welding) provide an end-to-end solution by streamlining manufacturing processes for customers in a safe way.   

Formerly known as DesignPro Robotics, we embarked on a rebranding journey, to increase their position as an innovative leader in the fabrication industry.

The Challenge

Before partnering with Fabtech Robotics, our client faced significant challenges with their old branding strategy.

They aimed to be recognized as pioneers in robotic welding technologies, however their current brand failed to clearly communicate their advanced robotics solutions, reducing their perceived industry expertise.  

The Solution

A rebranding strategy centred on simplicity, innovation and leadership within the fabrication industry, was devised by IMS Marketing, to address the branding challenges:

  1. Redefining the brand to demonstrate their expertise 

  2. Revising their core messaging to emphasize their commitment to cutting-edge technology, dependability in robotic integration, and tailored solutions.

  3. Redesigning the brand to present a modern and technologically focused identity.

The Approach

The major aim was to promote clarity and uniformity in the way Fabtech Robotics is presented. 

This began with building a foundation across three core areas: 

Brand Workshop:
  • Vision & Goals: Defined their brand vision to demonstrate their long-term goals.
  • Mission & Purpose: Established their brand mission through identifying the motivations behind their actions, to discover their fundamental purpose.
  • Values & Personality: Established their brand values and defined the human characteristics that embody their brand personality
Brand Strategy Development:

The brand strategy document, detailed the outputs from the brand workshop, providing a roadmap for the management and development of the brand. Offering clarity to ensure consistency in how the brand is represented across touchpoints. 

Rebranding
  • New Name: Following extensive conversations with the IMS Marketing team, the DesignPro Robotics team and key stakeholders, Fabtech Robotics emerged as the obvious choice for the new name.
  • Logo Identity: The logo evolved through multiple iterations, resulting in a design that exudes simplicity, modernity, and a clear emphasis on robotics while being edgy. 
  • Website Design and Development: The revamped website reflects their accessible, inventive, and welcoming personality. Featuring a clean and straightforward layout that allows visitors to easily navigate and access essential information.
