The Brief

IMS were engaged by this international engineering company to develop a plan for their entry into the German market.

The Challenge

This US multinational decided to set-up a sales office in the German market but needed to establish a German brand identity and brand awareness campaign.

The Idea

IMS were responsible for all aspects of the market introduction plan. Working closely to corporate brand guidelines, we designed a German language website and managed the translation of key sales materials into the local language. We also developed a promotional plan, with one of the most successful tactics being a roadshow of events throughout Germany to meet new and prospective customers. This combined with PR and online marketing successfully introduced the company into the German market over a 6 month period.

The Results

The company has since expanded their presence in the German market, which is now one of its most important sales regions in Europe. This case study highlights the ability of IMS to manage a new market entry, incorporating multilingual requirements.
